Something crazy coming

We decide to have some competition with very many and good prizes.
Please post your ideas here on what competition should be and what prizes we should give away.
We will see if cornucopia want to combine competition for that.

I don't want to make that competition just for the best image.
More like, the most unusual idea, best natural look, real life, new way ... etc
Best rock material .. with requirement winner give away free that material ... or best atmosphere, something with many cathegories
So any one can qualify

One idea i have is something like 70's movie's. Not sure what it would be yet but a scene from one of those crime movies from that time is intresting

I think it's a great idea to have a competition that the resulting textures/materials, atmospheres, objects, etc get to be shared amongst the registered users free. That's a fantastic way to build a high quality and comprehensive Geekatplay library.

How about a best material challenge - everyone wins since they get the materials entered. Must start with default material, only use functions and color maps created by user.

You could also do this for atmospheres, starting with default atmosphere.

How about a prize for the best "first render", since I just bought Vue and I am about to do my first render

It would be nice, to be given a specific theme e.g. snowy mountains, jungle, desert, etc, and the best image to get the prize.

Well the new year us just upon us and I hope we come up with something. Some other forums similar to this have different challenges. One that some use is a picture challenge. Someone would pick a picture and then we would all see who can come the closest to making it as close to matching it. Or we could each choose our own picture and then compare the best match. This way it would not matter what version of Vue you owned you could choose a picture that your program would be able to do.

What ever we come up with who would be the judges?
