3D Coat 3.2 released

Postby kenmo on Wed Jan 27, 2010 12:37 pm

Just got an e-mail this morning informing me 3.2 ver of 3DCoat has been released....

Will there be anymore tuts from the very talented Mr Miller on 3DC?

I hope so...

Cheers

Mmm, what do you guys think of 3D Coat? I downloaded a demo a while ago but didn't have the time to test it. How does it compare to ZBrush?

I like it better but I'm no expert in ZB or 3DC..I tried the demo of ZB ver 3 and found the interface odd better then Truespace or Blender but not very intuitive.... I played with a demo of 3DC ver 2 and like it alot... So much so I purchased it. At Christmas I upgraded 3DC to ver 3 as well as Vue to ver 8 of Pro Studio...

Lately however I've been doing more 2D stuff in Corel Painter and lately ArtRage Pro Studio 3....

I love 3D especially Vue, Hexagon, Wings3D and 3DCoat but I find 3D can be a little too technical at times unlike Painter, Photoshop or ArtRage...

I also thank God for a fine place like GeekatPlay but I'm a little disappointed Gary stopped doing tuts in 3DC... No offense to Gary as I do appreciate his tutorials in Hex and Vue and realize he has other interests now like Modo, a wife, a family, a home... LOL... Only so much time in a day.... :D :D :D :D

Cheers
