workstation hardware substitutions

decided to build a new rig based on the specs vovka suggested. i've never done this before so i wanted to stick to his template. unfortunately, i am unable to find several of the components and would like some advice on appropriate alternatives.

1) EVGA 896-P3-1171-AR GeForce GTX 275 Superclocked Edition 896MB:

i have searched the web, and visited evga.com and cannot find this card.
all the parts sites (newegg et al have it listed as out of stock and make no
mention of restocking.
would the gtx 260 superclocked be an acceptable card?

2) OCZ XMP Ready Series 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600:

once again, i am unable to find this memory in any web search. any thoughts
on an appropriate replacement?

i realize that i might not have searched properly, and if anyone knows of a source for the original components, please point me in the right direction. what i don't know about this would fill volumes (granted, the pages would be blank) so any advice is greatly appreciated.

Memory this specs :6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600:

Best way look at reviews, people will tell if it's good brand.

thank you, vovka. i apreciate the advise. btw, have you seen the prices for ddr3 memory lately? OUCH !!!
i think i decided to build at the wrong time (heavy sigh). sometimes my timing is 50-50-50-345
