Hex file won't open

I was working on a hot rod model in Hex 2.5. I saved it and now when I try to open it, it crashes Hexagon... I also tried to open up a previous save of the model, it also crashes Hexagaon...

Not all is lost though as I can open the first iteration of the model I saved but not the 2nd or third...

Has this every happened to you Gary or anyone else?

Is there a work around?

A poster on Renderosity had the same problem. He reset preferences which fixed his problem as well as mine...
